Thank you for visiting Black Diamond Show Dogs. Kat Wallis is a Professional Dog Handler located on 40 acres in beautiful Northern Colorado. Kat first stepped into the conformation ring in 1996 with her Australian Shepherd.  In 2000 Kat had successfully put championships on 2 dogs from her first litter out of the bred by class. Kat was awarded Best Junior at the 2002 ASCA Nationals with her Aussie Jackie. Kat worked for several Professional Handlers throughout the country learning correct care, condition, grooming and handling of several breeds. After high school Kat went on the road full time to continue her education in handling. She graduated college with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice & Criminolgy. After college she pursued her dream of handling dogs full time. During her career she has piloted many dogs to their championships, Grand Championships, Group Wins and placements, National Speciality Winners Bitch, Top 20 Winner, Award of Merits as well as compainged dogs to top 10 positions in their breeds and all breeds. 

        In 2015 Kat and her husband Adam bought their dream home on 40 acres. Their current kennel is equipped with 6'x6' indoor climate controlled runs, full grooming spa and large outdoor play areas. Please check back for updates on the construction of their new custom kennel building with indoor/outdoor runs, full grooming spa, welping room, and playroom. They are very excited to be expanding to meet the needs of their show dogs and clients. 

      Kat and her team are dedicated to the safety and well-being of all the dogs in their care. Dogs are transported in a climate controlled Mercedes Sprinter or a Freightliner Motorhome equipped with Impact Dog Crates, generator, Fire alarm and Temperature alarm. Black Diamond Show Dogs LLC carries Care, Custody and Control Liablitly Insurance, and Kat is trained and Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.
